A meeting of equals
The day center Senderos del Sembrador hosts more than 20 people with intellectual disabilities every day. In conjunction with the Department of Extension of the UBA Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, they carry out the Amigos Program, whose main objective is the social integration of people with and without disabilities in recreational activities that involve interaction with dogs that are part of the program.
The activity is the excuse for the meeting from a place of parity within the differences.
